Our Story
2003 - Where it Began
Paul graduates from the University of Canterbury with a Structural Engineering degree with honors, laying the groundwork for a career in development.
2011 - A City in Need
After the Christchurch earthquake, Paul dedicates himself to the city’s rebuild, working alongside a property developer who inspires his next steps.
2016 - First Steps in Development
Paul takes on his first project, turning 10 damaged units into 17 new homes and introducing Christchurch to the 2-bedroom townhouse model. Later, an ambitious 88-unit development sets a new standard, using prefabrication to deliver the city’s largest townhouse project.
2017 - Heading North
With over 200 homes completed in Christchurch, the focus expands to Auckland, taking on medium-sized projects that balance scale and manageability.
2021 - Navigating Challenges
In December 2021, tougher lending rules and market shifts brought new challenges, but the team adapted by focusing on smaller, bespoke developments tailored to buyers’ needs.
2024 - A Growing Team
Mike joins as Development Manager, bringing additional expertise to help drive the next stage of Citrus Living’s journey.
2025 - Strengthening Support
The team expands further with Sam joining in Sales and Annelyse and Tess providing essential administrative support.
